Christmas Holidays Homework Part II: 9:17 to 12:14

Welcome back. We now move on to Part II of December 27th 2022. A mild day in Hay-on-Wye on the English / Welsh border in the early part of the 21st Century. War rages in Ukraine and energy prices are impoverishing many as Britain struggles economically post-Brexit. After giving ancient Arthur his tablets and dropping a couple of quid on the fanstasy of a lottery win, then wasting some time (more precious than money now) on online Scrabble, I had a shower then went for a walk through town doing a bit of window shopping (the raptor in an antique shop window being the only surviving photo of this aspect of my day - more might be needed from this section?) before stopping for coffee at Hay Castle Cafe - the smell of woodsmoke was beautiful. There I reflected on my homework so far...

I don't like the pictures in this section so much - they seem less successful except for the raptor, the phone reflecting the Christmas lights and the shower curtain (I love the light and the simplicity of form in this one, as well as the muted colours). The last picture in particular is very meh. So, back to the drawing board with this section I think.
